My boss is treating my coworkers and me this week to lunch at the Noodle House in Charlottetown. Our family has never eaten there before, and we were discussing it over supper (at our house).
Erin: If you like it, maybe we can all go sometime.
Me: Sure.
Henry didn't like the idea of eating there. Not one bit. We asked why.
Henry: I don't know. Something about all those noodles. (He shrugged) Kinda makes me nervous.
I bet they play lots of music with minor chords, too. Henry is right to steer clear. Just as long as he still likes noodles when they come stuck in hot dogs to form jellyfish for him to eat. Mmmmmmmmm
There WERE a fair number of noodles. One must judge these things based on one's own sensitivities. Me, I came out fairly OK. Others might not be as hearty.
oh henry...

ReplyDeleteHave Jane tell him it is pasta in a different form.
ReplyDeleteso how was it anyway? Excessively noodle-y as feared or safe for mere mortals after all?
